Plasterer and painter decorator in Upper Norwood

A tidy finish.

I’m Luc Hunter. I run Nova Coat & Plaster on my own from Upper Norwood, SE19. I skim walls and ceilings, repair plaster, and paint and decorate the rooms afterwards, across Crystal Palace, Croydon, Streatham and nearby. Careful work, clean floors, free quotes.

The business

A small trade, done properly.

Nova Coat & Plaster is a sole trader business. When you call, you speak to Luc. When the work starts, Luc is the one doing it.

Most jobs are a mix of both trades: a cracked ceiling skimmed, then the room painted once the plaster is properly dry. Some are just plastering, some just painting and decorating. Both are welcome.

Every room is looked at on its own merits. The age of a house gives a clue, but it does not decide whether a wall needs a skim, a repair or more. Luc checks first, then explains what he would do and why.

Homeowners, tenants with permission, landlords and letting agents all get in touch. Quotes are free and come with a plain explanation of what the job needs.

What to expect

How Luc works in your home.

  1. 01

    One person, both trades

Luc plasters and paints. No waiting on a second trade, and no finger-pointing about who caused the bump under the paint.

  2. 02

    Dust sheets first

Floors covered, furniture protected, rooms tidied at the end of each day. Your home is treated like a home.

  3. 03

    Straight answers

If a wall needs reboarding rather than skimming, you will hear it plainly. If it doesn’t, you won’t pay for it.
